Sarah E. is an eclectic pop up shop featuring classy, fun, and thrifty finds.

My late maternal grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Redd Tolbert, whom I affectionately dubbed "Nay Nay" was many things-beautiful, stylish, and resourceful to name a few. She could do a lot with a little like so many of our aunties, mamas, and grandmamas. A master gardener, decorator extraordinaire, and fashionista in her own light, it was her genuine down to earth spirit that most resonated with those near and far. She was as fierce as she was loving and as brave as she was generous, simply because she was always herself. 

Sarah E. is inspired by her and the many women who push us to be our best, most authentic selves in boardrooms, churches, homes, and everywhere in between.

We feature a variety of finds including: clothing, accessories, and repurposed/retro furniture.

It is our aim to outfit you for the moments that matter whether it be with a unique milk-glass vase for your buffet, cute clutch for your night on the town, or a vintage thermos for your next adventure. 

Each piece is handpicked by me with class, sass, and a lot of love as an ode to my "Nay Nay". Believe it or not I started thrifting when I was a small child with a host of women in my family: my Nay Nay (Sarah E.), my late paternal grandmother, and my mother. From spotting the sale tags and scouting out the brand of fine china via an inscription, these ladies made sure I had all the tools for the trade. I source all of the items secondhand or gently used and then inventory, repair, and/or repurpose them for listing in my small home workshop using my years of experience as an avid vintage and thrift shopper.
